2011 Home Show Committee
The Home Show Committee will meet at the HBAGK office on Tuesday, September 21 at 12 noon to plan the 2011 Home Show. Please reply to let us know if you will be able to attend and having lunch. Lunch will be provided for $6 and we accept cash, checks and credit cards. Thank you for volunteering to serve on this very important committee!
After several failed attempts to meet with the people at HGTV, we were finally able to secure a meeting with them two weeks ago. After a good discussion, they informed us that while they believe it is a great event for our community and they appreciated what we did for the industry, that HGTV was not able to support or sponsor the event. They were very complimentary of the event and of our marketing materials but that HGTV does not get involved in events that were not of a national or international nature.We still need to make this the BEST HOME SHOW ever and we need YOU to help us accomplish this on our 60th Anniversary. We have modified our floorplan, have stepped up our promotional plan, and fully expect that 2011 will be a bigger and better show!2011 Home Show CommitteeDate and Time
