The governmental affairs committee is responsible for monitoring issues involving the building industry and elections on the local level. We also communicate with HBAT & NAHB on a regular basis about industry regulations.

Alan fell in love with residential architecture and construction. He excels at interacting with clients throughout the design & construction process to achieve quality results on a budget. Alan is a State of Tennessee Licensed General Contractor since 2004. NKCS Inc. was formed in 2004 to provide clients with a stress free design and construction experience they will not find with other contractors.

His insight into the building process allows him to identify potential problems before they are developed, and to see a 360-degree view of a new home. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and daughter Olivia, lifting weights, and riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoys boating, and football - especially UT (Go Vols!) and the Chicago Bears (da' Bears!).
